Once upon a time, I bought a camera and started taking pictures.  Soon enough, my own little photography business emerged.  I had so much fun learning about photography, meeting new people, and experiencing beautiful moments between my subjects.

But then I looked around and noticed that my sweet little business had taken over most of my life.  Editing each evening after my day job and shooting on weekends drained any extra moment I had.

So, now I'm starting a new "Once upon a time..."

I am leaving the business behind as a fond memory and embarking on an old, favorite adventure of mine: the simple, quiet life.

With a camera still occasionally in my hands I'll keep creating - but no longer for profit.  No more business.  Just the enjoyment of people and things that I love.

From now on I'll be blogging about new things to make or try.  New adventures, stories, and thoughts.  New & old ways to say "I love you."  New things to read. -----  Things that may be new to me and old to you.  Or the other way around.  Or... if we're lucky, something that's new to us both.
